Ther very fundamental property of Enso has to do with the concept of time based on Max Tegmark's view in which flow of time is considered as an iliusion, hence the band,s frequent change of tempo and polymeters together with metric modulations and polyrhythms are a pursuit of viewing time in a relatively novel way in this regard.
In addition to time, Enso's performance is rather eccentric. According to principle of charity, other members of the band have the freedom to transform the music whenever they feel it has been played long enough.In other words, there is no leader while the music is being played live.Thereby, giving everyone the responsibility and freedom to shift the music to other patterns and cellules in the most liberal way.
Each piece is entitled a "Phrase" so as to take away any judgment from the audience, leaving them with bare experience to enjoy the liberty of choosing to listen to a combination of rhythms they decipher in the moment of vibration as they appear in consciousness.
